Marketing Content Coordinator

Mild to Wild Rafting and Jeep Tour Outfitter is seeking a qualified Marketing Content Coordinator with superb project management and organizational skills. The Marketing Content Coordinator helps us as a whole to achieve and stay true to our mission statement: Our goal is to enrich your life with an escape in the outdoors creating a deeper connection with nature, family, and new friends! The ideal candidate is eager to learn, and complete projects with little to no supervision. This position works directly with the Marketing Director to manage and produce all aspects of Mild to Wild’s content marketing strategy as well as assisting with general marketing initiatives.

Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours have been the Southwest’s adventure and whitewater experts for over 25 years. Started by Molly & Alex Mickel, Mild to Wild has grown from a small booth in downtown Durango, to running trips all over Arizona, Utah, & Colorado. With the addition of Adventure Bound USA in 2018, Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours expanded to open an office in Moab, UT and run multi-day trips on legendary river sections such as Gates of Lodore, Yampa, Desolation Canyon, & Cataract Canyon. Mild to Wild is thrilled to carry on the nearly 70 year legacy of Adventure Bound River Expeditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Create a comprehensive content calendar for video production.
  • Video and photo production.
  • Copywriting and copyediting blogs.
  • Social media posting (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc).
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns.
  • Complete competitor analysis and research.
  • Manage event listings and event promotion.
  • Assist with influencer marketing initiatives & tracking.
  • Stay up to date on latest social media, content, and email marketing trends, strategies, and best practices.
  • Assist with writing press releases.
  • Be well versed and use inter-office communication and task management tools: (Slack, Asana, Dropbox, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Well-organized.
  • Experience in photo and video editing.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to write in different voices/tones dependent on the project.
  • Able to easily multi-task and work on multiple projects with the same deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn further about business, marketing, and/or communications.
  • Project-oriented & able to complete tasks with little supervision.
  • Ability to work with great attention to detail and knowledge of current digital trends.
  • Be well versed in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop. A plus if you are familiar with Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, WordPress, Mailchimp, Facebook Business Manager, and social media scheduling tools such as: Creator Studio, Buffer, Later, etc.
  • Willing to abide by the policies and procedures of Mild to Wild.
  • If working remotely, you must have access to a computer that can edit high quality video.
