Jeep Guide and Driver - Moab

Mild to Wild Rafting and Jeep Tours Outfitter is seeking quality guides for our jeep tours in Moab, Utah. As a driver, you are a vital part of the Mild to Wild Team! You will not just be a driver, but also the guide; this includes transporting guests to and from their meeting points, educating guests on the history of the area, entertaining children, creating life-long memories and much more! We have many different vehicles and while you would primarily be driving 4×4 custom tour vehicles, you may be asked to drive trucks, vans, buses and more. 


Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours has been the Southwest’s adventure and whitewater experts for over 27 years. Started by Molly & Alex Mickel, Mild to Wild has grown from a small booth in downtown Durango, to running trips all over Arizona, Utah, & Colorado. With the addition of Adventure Bound USA in 2018, Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours expanded to open an office in Moab, UT and run multi-day trips on legendary river sections such as Gates of Lodore, Yampa, Desolation Canyon, & Cataract Canyon. Mild to Wild is thrilled to carry on the nearly 70 year legacy of Adventure Bound River Expeditions. Our mission is to enrich our guests' lives with an escape in the outdoors creating a deeper connection with nature, family, and new friends.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for safely transporting guests.
  • Must be familiar with the area(s) history and landscape to create lifelong memories for the guests.
  • Must perform vehicle inspections before and after a trip.
  • Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.
  • Communicate with management often & clearly (this includes maintenance and issues).
  • Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • CDL license is a plus, not mandatory
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay is dependent on experience.
  • Hire start date as early as March with a commitment through at least November 1st (Hire and start dates are flexible).
  • Upon hire, you will be required to get a DOT physical & CPR certified. This is paid for directly by the company or reimbursed with proof of receipt.
